    Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), is a process used by training organisations to assess and give credit to individuals for the knowledge and skills they have acquired through previous experiences.

    RPL allows individuals to demonstrate their competence and knowledge in a particular subject or field without having to complete the entire formal training. The process does require you to gather evidence from your professional experiences, on the job training, informal learning and other relevant life events.

    Step 1: involves a pre-assessment which you will find on www.auctus.com.au. Once completed and deemed a suitable candidate, you will be contacted by one of our RPL experts.

    Step 2: an evaluation is carried out by an accredited assessor at Auctus. You will be given clear instructions on the evidence that you will need to produce for your knowledge to be assessed. The assessor compares the individual's prior learning and experiences against the learning outcomes and competencies required for a specific qualification or course.

    If your knowledge and skills align with the required standards, you may be granted credit transfer which can reduce the amount of time and effort needed to obtain the qualification.
